The Weekend Project

Thought you might like to know that this is what happens when a couple Polaris guys come and visit for a weekend. ( Jim and Curtis)

We started on her about 5 Friday and we were finished  late Saturday night. The original photo was taken on January 8th as we drove it out of the owners shop.

It is an enduro oval sled which was raced locally here in the Sun Valley area. They ran mostly on mile ovals, 100 laps or so with 3 man teams. The dual tank set up was like the Winnipeg sleds for no refueling.

We are working on few more details but at this point do know it's 600 twin free air was an experimental motor which there are only a few known to remain. It is completely rebuilt and capable of running.  I just have a few very small details to finish before she's 100%.

We restored it for the family who owns her as an heirloom for the  incredible contributions they have devoted to Western Snowmobiling over the past 3 decades. Quite the history lesson for sure!

Jim will be putting together the story and posting it with a ton of detailed photos on the web sites in the near future.

Stay tuned for more and don't forget to make your reservations for West Yellowstone March 13!
