The Snowmobile Barn Museum held the Clay Jennings Memorial Show Nov. 14 in Fredon, NJ.
By, George Mattar

There were  74 sleds and numerous people selling parts on a beautiful, sunny day in northwestern New Jersey. The featured sled was Rupp.
Best of Show went to Aaron Zeoli, with his perfectly restored Auto Ski Spitfire. Aaron hails from Milford, Pa., and always shows up with an interesting sled. He pulled this heap from a junk yard and took it home for about $50. It is now a gleaming show piece and is headed to Paul Bernier's in Turner, Maine, Aaron said.

2012 Operation Vintage Pride

2012 Operation Vintage Pride

This year’s show was held in Austin, Mn on September 22, 2012. Free overnight camping was allowed some of the drag races and swappers pulled in on Friday afternoon and evening. This always makes for a fun evening. The profit from this show all goes to care packages to be sent to the troops serving our country and protecting our freedom overseas. All the guys and gals working this show are volunteers and the show just would not happen without all there hard work. The setting at this show is relaxing, informal and a ton of fun for everyone. Watch for more changes to the event next year.

The Operation Vintage Pride group would like to thank all the vendors, swappers, drag races, and the spectators for support the show and our troops overseas.

2012 Eagle River Reunion

2012 Eagle River Reunion  Show, Swap, and Race

This year at the Reunion the weather played its part to the fullest possible extent. It was absolutely gorgeous. The mornings laid down a little white frost, but the sunny days erased the frost with ease.

Friday night’s show this year included Happy Hour at the Last Lap Saloon, There was grass drag races under the lights and displays of beautifully restored vintage sleds started filling up the Derby Hall. Saturday was a full day of vintage drag racing, swapping and sled showing followed by an awards ceremony and trophy presentation.

By mid morning Saturday the show sleds filled up the Derby Hall with some very nice sleds on display.  The quality of these show sleds continues to amaze those that walk up and down the aisles admiring the sleds on display. Besides the individual show sleds there were several nice complete displays of sleds and memorabilia.
